nope left handed people are not more intelligent, left handed people are evil, and sly so they think they are more intelligent because they are sly and do evil things, this is why they think they are more intelligent than right handed people, when the truth is right handed people just dont bother scooping to that level..

Hello, i am 14 years old. I am also a lefty. I find normal activies hard to do, especially in school. When i write papers, the outside part of my hand is smudged with pencil lead because i rub my hand over what i've previosly written. Being left-handed certainly is complicated. But i'd never try to change it. Also, i play basketball, and I get played a lot because i can drive the ball with my left hand, and the other team isn't prepared for that. So i guess being left handed is an advantage in that situation. I'm glad i have a place where i can find comfort in my fellow lefties! Thanks, and i love this website.

If Obama wins the permanent damage will go beyond economy. Obama and his sponsors are laser focused on education and that's the scariest part of their strategy. Of all the Obama's shady associates Bill Ayers probably matters the most, because he is the key to understanding the agenda of the camp Obama represents and the the means they are going to use to achieve their goals. Once Obama gives education to Ayers and his followers, the next generation of American kids will be conditioned to believe in the same ideas that drove Ayers to bomb the Pentagon. And then American parents will start hearing questions like Dad, what was that thing you said about President Obama.

He said his actions are guided by 'independence and reason' which on the surface is not a problem. There is a lot of partisanship in Washington these days. I believe many of our politicians think we think the same way they do, that we are constantly at each others' throats trying to out do one another. But that is not the case. Most of us live our lives as normal as possible, far away from politics and the partisan rancor in DC. We go to work, we play, we exist on a scale apparently unknown by most of Congress. That is why we need representatives. We want our 'representatives' to represent us, not go off the reservation and do whatever they want.
By saying he is guided by 'independence and reason, Chet Edwards is distancing himself from us, the ones who elected him. That way, if he is re-elected, he will claim to have a mandate from the people to vote any way he choses. Chet has always had an independent streak which seems to manifest itself when he is not running for re-election. So what I am saying is that I want my representative to vote the way most of the voters in his district would want him to vote. That does not mean he needs to take a poll before every vote. He knows how conservative his district is and he should vote accordingly.

"Edwards said any action he takes in Congress is guided by independence and reason, rather than by partisan politics."

Seems like a reasonable way to operate to me. If his reasoning ability is functioning correctly he'll do what's right. If it's not...

Chuck,
I am humbled by your mention in your post concerning Chet Edwards. I wish we could have met before the election in time to possibly make a difference. I figured I was just yammering out into the great void, but I just felt the job had to be done since the Eagle had already made their decision.
Would it be possible for you to link to The Jackalope's Voice? It would be a great honor sir! I'm stil out here thinkin'.
My husband and I want to thank you for your service to our country. We hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Sincerely,
Nancy Coppock
