The Right State

A bit about me. My name is Charles Wilson, Chuck to my friends.  I was born and raised in Texas. I spent four years in the United States Air Force as an Avionics Specialist on the F-15 Eagle. I was stationed at Langley A.F.B., Virginia where our unit (the 48^th Fighter Interceptor Squadron) protected the east coast from Soviet incursions (which happened much more frequently than you would think). There I met my wife, Michele (from Michigan)(Don’t ask). We moved back to Texas where I went to Texas A&M University majoring in History (Military History emphasis) and minored in Political Science (Foreign Relations emphasis). I taught U.S. History, World History and Government in High School and coached football, basketball, baseball, cross-country, and track in various schools around the state. Now, I am self-employed and spend my spare time attending political functions, and blogging (mainly about politics, history, current events, and sports) and reading (history, poli-sci). And that’s who I am.
