Ted Kennedy Diagnosed With a Malignant Brain Tumor
As many of you know, Senator Ted Kennedy has been in the hospital for tests for the last few days since suffering a seizure a last weekend. Now we know the reason for the seizure. Fox News has just announced that Senator Ted Kennedy has just been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. This must come as a body blow for lawmakers in Washington and for Democrats in particular. Kennedy has been a mainstays in the Senate having become the liberal touchstone for many Democrats across the country.
Politically, I disagree with the Senator on almost every point, but this news of his brain tumor transcends ideology. The man is fighting for his life. And so my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during his medical crisis. God speed, Senator Kennedy.
