Camelot Endorses Obama

Today turned out to be a very bad day for Hillary and Bill Clinton when the Kennedys endorsed Barak Obama as the Democrat candidate for the President of the

United States. Hillary’s nomination by the Democrat Party was supposed to be a forgone conclusion. Hillary believed she could win by simply announcing her bid, making the Democrat primary a coronation rather than a real contest. But the freshman Senator from

Illinois has gotten in her way and has made her path to the White House much more difficult. Now Obama is racking up an incredible list of endorsements, not that political endorsements mean anything other than bragging rights. Any semi-intelligent person will consider the candidate and the issues rather than to use what endorsements a aspirant has accrued in deciding who to support, but I digress.

The Kennedy family is the closest thing to royalty this nation has ever had, at least as far as the Democrats and the media are concerned. The fabled name of Camelot has come to represent this supposed royal family. Hillary needed the Kennedys to either endorse her, or at the very least, to remain neutral. But that is not to be, as Senator after Senator has endorsed Mr. Obama including those from Camelot.

Poor Hillary! (Okay, all the crocodile tears are gone) Hillary may still win, but she will be bloodied in the process, making the Republican nominee a better prospect to become the next President.
