CNN’s Un-American Video Revealed
The MSM has a history of undermining US efforts in wartime and constitute a ‘fifth column’ by supporting our enemies. The New York Times decides to release classified information time after time because of the ‘public interest’ including the warrantless wire tapping, secret projected troop levels in Iraq, and financial data mining all of which has hurt our efforts to stop the terrorists. The old Grey Lady has called our troops murderers and have defended the terrorists. The AP publishes photos of jihadists masquerading as photojournalists. They even publish doctored photos which depict the war in even worse light than it is.
Ted Turner speaking before the National Press Club said he was not sure which side he was on in this war on terror.
There are a lot of things about this war that disturb me, one of them is…the attitude… that was well expressed by our president [when he said] “you’re either with us or you’re against us.” And I had a problem with that because I really hadn’t made my mind up yet. You know, what if you hadn’t made your mind up yet? You know, what if you’re thinking about it, doing some studying, doing some reading?” (emphasis added by TRS)
I would say that Ted Turner has most likely still not made up his mind whether he is with us or with the terrorist. Then I ran across a video from CNN by way of BlackFive.
The fact that most of the media is against this war, against President Bush, and against Republicans is not much of a surprise. Most of the media are liberal and they have been against this war from the beginning. That is okay. The fact that reporters from the New York Times continually print classified projects which indangers America, the war effort, and places our troops in greater danger disturbs me but is not surprising. The fact that the AP would accept and print doctored photos and buys photos from jihadists is disturbing. The fact that CBS would knowingly use fraudulent Texas National Guard documents to influence a national election is deeply disturbing. But none of this holds a candle to what the Clinton News Network (sometimes called the Communist News Network) (CNN) has done in accepting a video from terrorist snipers as they target our troops.
Chilling scenes from a videotape made by insurgents show the work of snipers in Iraq, targeting and killing American troops, taking them down with a single bullet from a high-powered rifle.
The graphic video of 10 sniper attacks was obtained by CNN — through intermediaries — from the Islamic Army of Iraq, one of the most active insurgent organizations in Iraq.
In one scene, U.S. soldiers mingle among Iraqi civilians on a city street as a U.S. Humvee with a gunner in its turret stands guard nearby.
From a distance, possibly hundreds of yards away, a sniper watches for his opportunity to strike as a fellow insurgent operates a camera to capture the video for propaganda purposes. (emphasis added by TRS)
The Arabic world might as well shut down Aljazeera, the propaganda media arm of militant Islamists, because CNN is doing the work for them. In spite of what Ted Turner says, CNN is an American company and used to the news channel of most Americans. But their obvious bias has relegated the once proud 24 hour news channel to a very low second place only followed by the anti-Bush and anti-Republican MSNBC. Turner might not like America but he made his billions here. He should keep that in mind before he becomes another propaganda arm for the terrorists who hate the United States.
In the video, street sounds mix with male Arabic voices as the sniper and his spotter talk off-camera.
“People are around them,” warns the spotter, who seems to be operating the video camera. “Want me to find another place?”
“No, no,” comes the reply, “give me a moment.”
And then, the crack of gunfire is heard and the soldier in the turret slumps forward.
In response to all of the critcism for running the video, Anderson Cooper had much to say in response. The most critical paragraph is below.
We are assuming they included the sniper tape to prove the authenticity of the Al-Shimary interview tape and to establish their credibility. Of course, we also understood that some might conclude there is a public relations benefit for the insurgents if we aired the material, especially on CNN International. We also understood that this kind of footage is upsetting and disturbing for many viewers. But after getting beyond the emotional debate, we concluded the tape meets our criteria for newsworthiness. I guess that means it portrayed the war negatively and so that made it newsworthy. It showed the killing of one of our heroes and I guess that made it newsworthy. Then we get to the point—it was a public relations benefit for the terrorists and that is what really made it newsworthy. The video might be disturbing, but it accomplishes CNN’s goal which is criticize the war and the President for sending troops to fight this war. In the article, Cooper continues to justify CNN’s actions. Another apologist for the MSM.

WTF is their problem? I don’t give two flying f**ks how global those bastards are, their headquarters is in Atlanta. If they want to act as press agents for our enemies I suggest they relocate to somewhere in Al Anbar Province. There can be no justification for showing terrorists killing Americans, none. The only way terrorism can be effective is if it’s message gets out, and showing their successes on freakin’ CNN is about the best they could ever hope for.
Congratulations assholes you just made heroes out of murderous scum who spend more of their time blowing up innocent Iraqi children than ever actually fighting US troops. The CNN description talks about how dangerous it is for the brave snipers of the Islamic Army of Iraq, Allahu Akhbar! But that’s BS, this isn’t sniping, this is murder in an urban setting. These swine hide in civilian clothes among the civilian populace and jack off a couple of rounds before hiding the gun in some lady’s laundry and sneaking out the back door.
CNN has made a conscious choice and they chose the wrong side. By promoting these evil killers, by giving them credibility, by treating them as simply our opposites, they have decided that the terrorists are our equivalent. How shameful that our major media are so unable to make moral distinctions that terrorist killers and our own sons and daughters are simply opponents, equally culpable for the crime of having disturbed the peace of their liberal mindset.

If MSM could just see what happens to a country when the Islamists take over, they would mostly likely not be in such a hurry to support the terrorists. Journalists (I only call them journalists because that is what they call themselves) who do not kowtow to the Islamists’ line of thinking would be killed. And yet they continually undermine the one nation who guarantees them the right to publish whatever they want (within reason). Our troops are on the battlefield risking their lives so that these ‘journalists’ can print their vile and vitriol. And how are our troops thanked for their service—CNN shows a video showing how terrorists killed an American soldier. CNN has become a part of the fifth column in supporting the terrorists. (for those who do not understand the term fifth column look here)
I do not watch the Communist News Network so I can’t say I’ll never watch it again, but I can tell my friends and neighbors what these traitors have done. These young men and women defending the United States in Afghanistan and Iraq are true American heroes. It would be nice if the MSM treated them accordingly. What CNN has done is nothing short of un-American.

CNN has said the video is hard to watch (not for them), the story needs to be told. Really? They refuse to show 9/11 videos or beheadings. No, they can’t do that. This would show who our enemy really is. I believe CNN has committed treason.
They can no longer be trusted as a news source and should be known as a terrorist propaganda machine. They should be shut down, but they won’t be. People need to pull their money out of CNN/Time Warner. I would like to see our veterans rally in front of CNN headquarters in Atlanta. Enough is Enough!
I agree. Our soldiers and veterans alike have been been getting away with bloody murder all in the name of newsworthiness. Its time for veterans of all stripes along with their families to pull the plug on CNN.
